MIY OUTDOOR – TERMS OF SERVICE (AUSTRALIA WIDE)
These Terms of Service apply to all products supplied by MIY Outdoor (“MIY Outdoor”, “we”, “us”) and all customers (“you”, “the client”) who accept a quotation and/or place an order with us.
By paying the deposit, you confirm you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.
Quotation Acceptance and Order Confirmation
A quotation is valid for 14 days from the date issued, unless stated otherwise.
Your order is confirmed once you accept the quotation in writing (email/message is fine) and you pay the 50% deposit.
Payment Terms
A 50% deposit is required to commence the order (“Deposit”).
The remaining 50% balance must be paid in full prior to shipping (“Final Payment”).
Products will not be shipped until Final Payment has been received and cleared.
Payments are to be made via [bank transfer / card / invoice link] as stated on your invoice.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
You may request a cancellation/refund within 7 days of paying the Deposit.
Any approved refund within this 7-day period will be less any costs already incurred, including (but not limited to):
materials ordered or purchased,
custom components,
supplier charges or restocking fees,
freight/booking fees (if already arranged).
After 7 days, cancellations may still be requested; however, refunds are not guaranteed and will be assessed based on costs incurred and order progress.
Photos Before Shipping
On request, we can provide photos of your product prior to shipping.
Photos are provided for confirmation of the product being prepared/packed and are not a substitute for installation inspection or product use checks.
Shipping, Delivery and Tracking
MIY Outdoor ships Australia wide using third-party freight carriers.
Once dispatched, we will provide you with a tracking number where available.
We will request that the driver contacts the client approximately 45 minutes prior to delivery; however, this is a request only and cannot be guaranteed, as it depends on the freight carrier.
Unloading Requirements (Customer Responsibility)
Delivery is kerbside / tailgate unless otherwise stated.
You must ensure safe and clear access for the delivery vehicle, and the correct number of people are present to unload the goods with the driver at the time of delivery.
If no one is available, or unloading cannot be completed safely, the carrier may return the goods to a depot and/or charge re-delivery, storage, or handling fees. Any such additional fees will be the responsibility of the customer.
Depot Collection for Large Items
For some orders, especially those with a larger width or oversized dimensions, delivery may be to the nearest freight depot rather than to the delivery address.
If depot collection is required, we will notify you as soon as we are advised by the carrier.
Flat Rate Shipping and Additional Charges
We offer a flat rate shipping fee which will be stated on your quotation/invoice.
Additional shipping charges may apply for regional or remote locations across Australia and/or products over 5 metres in length, and/or oversized/overweight freight classifications or special handling requirements.
If additional charges apply, we will notify you before dispatch. Shipping will proceed once any additional freight charges are paid.
Risk, Inspection and Delivery Issues
Risk of loss or damage may transfer at the point of delivery (or depot collection), subject to Australian Consumer Law.
You must inspect packaging and goods as soon as possible on delivery.
Any visible damage or missing items should be reported to MIY Outdoor within 24 hours of delivery with photos.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the ACL.
