Morning sun was hammering through the rear door of this minimalist Perth home, lighting up the living room before the family was awake. The owners wanted shade without breaking the architectural lines of the white render and black frames. An awning that announced itself was not an option.
A premium Millennium full-cassette in a custom Dulux powder coat, matched precisely to the wall colour. When retracted, the cassette disappears into the architecture. One-touch motorised, with the remote sitting outside the door so the family can deploy it from the courtyard without going back inside. A green and white stripe fabric softens the otherwise crisp black-and-white palette.
